Constellation Cassiopeia
A distinctive northern constellation often referred to as the ‘lazy W’ located close to and circling Polaris, the North Star, near the galactic pole. Because it is circumpolar we can always view it
Cassiopeia is rich in star clusters and nebulae and includes two Messier objects, M52 & M103, both open clusters. The brightest star cluster in the constellation is NGC 457, which contains around 80 stars and is just visible to the naked eye from a dark sky
