This secretive sparrow can be found in few places in our area. As can be viewed here, these photographs are from perhaps a 100 yards distant.
We were in a refuge that didn't allow access into the grassland so could not make a closer approach. I plan to make an effort to
get some closer shots of this bird in the coming months, but will post these images as a sighting report.
